Die Villa ist ein Traum, völlig abgelegen an der Küste gelegen, auf höchstem Standard gebaut. Küche ist top ausgestattet, alles durchflutet vom Blick über das wunderbare Meer. Direkt rechts vom Haus ist eine wunderschöne Bucht mit schönsten türkisen Wasser. Der Ort ist 15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, dort gibt es alles was man braucht. Kreta ist eine so schöne Insel!

Concernant le service, tout était parfait. Nous avons loué les voitures et nous nous sommes fait livrer des courses à la villa avant notre arrivée par les entreprises conseillées. Tout a été très fluide.
Finalement, nous avons été accueillis par Katerina qui se plie en quatre pour répondre à toutes nos demandes sur place. Elle a été notre ange gardien sur place et nous la remercions encore.

De villa ziet er precies zo uit als op de foto’s en tijdens ons verblijf was alles aanwezig wat we nodig hadden voor een onvergetelijke vakantie.
We waardeerden de eenvoudige service waarbij we vooraf boodschappen konden bestellen en laten leveren. Daardoor verliep onze aankomst vlot en konden we zonder stress aan onze vakantie beginnen.
Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk verwelkomd door Katerina. Haar warmte zorgde ervoor dat we ons vanaf het eerste moment thuis voelden.
We waren met 8 volwassenen en 4 kinderen en de villa was voor ons perfect. Er was voldoende ruimte om, wanneer gewenst, privacy te hebben. Voor de kinderen waren er bovendien tal van leuke activiteiten en natuurlijk waren er ook de verschillende zwembaden en de grote zwembadzone. 🙂

Die Unterkunft sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern.
Wir waren 3 Familien (10 Personen, davon 4 Kinder, 4-10 Jahre).
Lage: 2 h mit Mietauto vom Flughafen Heraklion entfernt, war nicht zu weit und sehr gute Straßen. Rundherum hatten wir keine Nachbarn. Tolle Aussicht aufs Meer.
Einzelne Buchten waren zu Fuß erreichbar. Bedarf ein wenig Geschick beim Abstieg, dafür wird man mit türkis blauem Wasser belohnt. Größere Strände sind mit dem Auto erreichbar.
Zum nächsten Ort wo es diverse kleine Supermärkte aber auch einen genialen Butcher gibt sind es ca 12-15 min mit dem Auto.
Villa: auf zwei Ebenen befinden sich 6 Schlafzimmer, 3 Küchen und 2 Wohnzimmer. Es ist sehr viel Geschirr, Besteck, Gläser, Küchengeräte (wie Toaster, Kaffeemaschine uvm). Der Griller wurde draußen viel genutzt.
Pools: einfach genial! In den kleinen Pools konnten die Kids stehen, tolle Wasserqualität! Ausreichend Liegen vorhanden.

The villa was absolutely amazing! The accommodation looks exactly like it does in the pictures. We were three families, 10 people in total, including four children aged between 4 and 10.
Location: It is about a two-hour drive by rental car from Heraklion Airport, which was not too far at all, and the roads were very good. We had no neighbours around us and enjoyed a wonderful view of the sea. Several secluded coves could be reached on foot. The descent requires a little care, but you are rewarded with beautiful turquoise water. Larger beaches can be reached by car. The nearest village, with several small supermarkets and even a fantastic butcher, is about a 12–15-minute drive away.
Villa: The villa is spread over two levels and has six bedrooms, three kitchens and two living rooms. There is an abundance of crockery, cutlery and glassware, as well as all kinds of kitchen appliances, such as a toaster, coffee maker and much more. We made great use of the outdoor barbecue.
Pools: Simply fantastic! The children could stand in the smaller pools, and the water quality was excellent. There were plenty of sun loungers.

Ligging: met de huurauto is het ongeveer 2 uur rijden vanaf de luchthaven van Heraklion. Dat viel heel goed mee en de wegen waren uitstekend. Rondom de villa waren er geen buren en we hadden een prachtig uitzicht op zee.
Verschillende kleine baaien waren te voet bereikbaar. De afdaling vraagt wat voorzichtigheid, maar wordt beloond met prachtig turquoise water. Grotere stranden zijn met de auto bereikbaar.
Het dichtstbijzijnde dorp, met verschillende kleine supermarkten en zelfs een geweldige slager, ligt op ongeveer 12 à 15 minuten rijden.
Villa: de villa is verdeeld over twee niveaus en beschikt over 6 slaapkamers, 3 keukens en 2 woonkamers. Er is zeer veel servies, bestek en glaswerk, evenals allerlei keukenapparatuur, zoals een broodrooster, koffiezetapparaat en nog veel meer. Ook de barbecue buiten werd intensief gebruikt.
Zwembaden: gewoon geweldig! In de kleinere zwembaden konden de kinderen staan en de waterkwaliteit was uitstekend. Er waren voldoende ligstoelen aanwezig.

Wat een ervaring!
Te midden van de prachtige ongerepte natuur, omgeven door zee en bergen bevindt zich deze villa. Groot, licht, luxueus, compleet! Alles aanwezig, een verblijf zonder zorgen.
Een service van de eigenares om “U” tegen te zeggen. Alles piekfijn voorbereid, steeds bereid te helpen en massa’s nuttige informatie (catering, restaurants, vervoer, winkels).
Komt daar nog bij dat de plaatselijke bevolking ongelooflijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam is.
Het plaatje was compleet.

My husband made enthusiastic use of the treadmill every morning. The housekeeper made sure everything was exactly as we wanted. Hats off!

Deze luxueuze villa biedt meer dan hetgeen een mens van dromen kan: een perfecte accommodatie zowel wat betreft woongedeeltes als buitenruimtes; een schitterend panorama op zee en bergen; een op en top service waarbij communicatie hoog in het vaandel wordt gedragen. In deze villa kwam ik tot rust, beleefde ik heerlijke BBQ’s onder de ‘sky of stars’ en plande ik uitstappen naar o.a. het mooie Knossos.
Een groot respect van mij gaat uit naar de eigenares en ook naar het huispersoneel dat alles tot in de puntjes naar de wens van de klant laat verlopen.

Onweerstaanbaar mooie plek om te verblijven. De foto's op de site liegen niet. Het is een droomplek. Je krijgt vooraf alle nodige informatie. Het warme onthaal door de zeer vriendelijke huishoudster Katerina is correct en vlot. Ook het contact met de tuinman Georgos en de poolboy Andreas was super.
Het huis is afgewerkt tot in de details en biedt heel wat mogelijkheden. Je kan het afhuren voor een grote familie. Door de goed doordachte architectuur en indeling, kan je er met meerdere gezinnen verblijven, samen, maar vooral ook met respect voor elkaars privacy. Alweer een pluspunt!
De keukens zijn allemaal uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt. Top. Alle kamers met ensuite badkamers. En dan het mooie linnen en handdoeken met logo. Super gewoon!
Wat is er heerlijker dan 's morgens de ramen te openen en je koffie te drinken op het terras, in de zon of de schaduw, met aan de ene kant, zicht op die machtige zee (schreef ik al dat het zeezicht overdonderend panoramisch is???) en aan de andere kant de bergen .... ZEN-ervaring!
’s Avonds en ’s nachts is het (na)genieten van de feeëriek verlichte zwembaden -> ja ‘zwembaden’, het zijn er in totaal 5! Wat een nachtzicht: romantischer kan het niet worden.
Zowel de zwembaden als de hele tuin zijn ’s nachts verlicht.
We hadden aan de zwembaden ook de beschikking over voldoende ligzetels (14 ex.) en mooie gele badhanddoeken.
Ook de map met uitstappen en aan te raden restaurantjes is een meerwaarde.
En tot slot: waar het mee begonnen is, namelijk het contact met de eigenares Hinda: vlot, vriendelijk en adequaat!

All the kitchens are equipped with everything you need. Top-notch. Every room has an en-suite bathroom. And the beautiful bed linen and towels with the Villa Atalandia logo are simply wonderful!
What could be better than opening the windows in the morning and enjoying your coffee on the terrace, in the sun or shade, with the magnificent sea stretching out before you? Have I already mentioned that the panoramic sea view is absolutely breathtaking? And on the other side, the mountains... a truly ZEN experience!
In the evening and at night, you can enjoy the magical illumination of the swimming pools — yes, pools, there are five in total! What a view at night; it could hardly be more romantic.
Both the pools and the entire garden are beautifully illuminated at night. We also had plenty of sun loungers around the pools (14 in total), as well as lovely yellow pool towels.
The folder with excursions and recommended restaurants was another great added bonus.
And finally, where it all began: our contact with the owner, Hinda - smooth, friendly and professional!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and left with wonderful memories and a very warm feeling.

The villa is in a quiet and undisturbed location! Nevertheless, close to the beaches and the town of Makrigialos, where you can find a lot of shops and restaurants. We personally recommend the restaurant in Goudouras. Home environment, no tourists.
The villa was perfectly clean, we were welcomed with wine, water, juice and fruit. The beds were comfortable, the sheets very pleasant. It was a great sleep. We had an unlimited supply of towels.
The housekeeper Katerina is available at any time and she is wonderful!!! Nothing is a problem, he arranges everything, advises.
The communication regarding renting the villa with Hinda was nice, fast, helpful.

De villa ligt op een rustige en ongestoorde locatie, maar toch dicht bij de stranden en het dorp Makrigialos, waar je tal van winkels en restaurants vindt. Wij raden persoonlijk het restaurant in Goudouras aan. Een huiselijke omgeving, zonder toeristen.
De villa was perfect schoon. We werden verwelkomd met wijn, water, fruitsap en fruit. De bedden waren comfortabel en het beddengoed voelde heerlijk zacht aan. We hebben er fantastisch geslapen. Er waren bovendien onbeperkt veel handdoeken beschikbaar.
Huismanager Katerina is altijd bereikbaar en ze is geweldig! Niets is haar te veel. Ze regelt alles en geeft uitstekend advies.
De communicatie met Hinda over de verhuur van de villa was prettig, snel en behulpzaam.
We hebben een heerlijke en rustige vakantie gehad! Bedankt!!!! We komen hopelijk zeker terug.
This place is INCREDIBLE. We stayed here with friends after our wedding and we could not believe how beautiful Atalandia is. Every detail, every corner you turn, there is something that will totally blow your mind. From the high quality finishes, to the 5 swimming pools, this villa was like something out of this world. We felt like total royalty. Each room had it’s own unique quality, air conditioning and en suite bathroom, making it the perfect place for multiple people to cohabit. There is 2 kitchen/dining/living areas which allows for multiple families to stay. There was even an annexe on the bottom floor with it’s own kitchen too! We had 11 adults in our group and we had more space and privacy than we could have ever imagined in one house.
The views were surreal; looking out over the Libyan see for miles and miles. Waking up in the morning and opening the blinds felt otherworldly, like we were living in a movie. The villa is totally secluded which meant we could host outside without having to worry about neighbours. We had a BBQ in the dining area outside and spent many hours on the terrace with our friends talking, drinking and laughing. At night, this place lights up in such a way that accentuates the stunning architecture that truly compliments the surrounding landscape of sea and mountains. Whilst standing in the main kitchen, you can see both the top of the mountain behind you, and the sea in front of you. I have never been in such a stunning house and our friends said the very same thing.
The villa is also fully kitted out with ample kitchenware, lots of fluffy towels and plenty of mini toiletries in the bathrooms. It was just like staying in a 5* hotel, but with so much more charm and beauty. I really feel like I could sit here and write about this place for hours, but I seriously think that if you are considering booking this place, to do so immediately and learn for yourself the true magnificence of this majestic and luxurious villa.
Hinda was so helpful and communicative with any questions we had, asking us if too if there was anything she could help us with. We also had the pleasure of meeting Katerina and her husband who take care of the villa and they were probably the kindest and most wonderful people we’ve ever met at an Air BnB. We were treated like kings and queens - an absolutely beautiful start to married life. We are already planning our trip next year!

Van de hoogwaardige afwerking tot de vijf zwembaden: deze villa leek wel uit een andere wereld te komen. We voelden ons als echte koningen en koninginnen.
Elke kamer heeft zijn eigen unieke karakter, airconditioning en een eigen badkamer, waardoor de villa perfect is voor een verblijf met meerdere personen. Er zijn twee keuken-, eet- en leefruimtes, waardoor meerdere gezinnen hier comfortabel kunnen verblijven. Op de benedenverdieping is er zelfs een aparte woonunit met een eigen keuken.
We waren met 11 volwassenen en hadden meer ruimte en privacy dan we ooit hadden kunnen verwachten in één huis.
De uitzichten zijn surrealistisch: je kijkt kilometers ver uit over de Libische Zee. ’s Ochtends wakker worden en de gordijnen openen voelde bijna onwerkelijk, alsof we in een film leefden.
De villa ligt volledig afgezonderd, waardoor we buiten konden samenkomen zonder ons zorgen te hoeven maken over buren. We genoten van een barbecue buiten en brachten vele uren door op het terras, pratend, drinkend en lachend met onze vrienden.
’s Avonds wordt de villa prachtig verlicht, waardoor de schitterende architectuur nog beter tot haar recht komt en perfect aansluit bij het omliggende landschap van zee en bergen. Vanuit de keuken kun je zowel de berg achter je als de zee voor je zien.
Ik heb nog nooit in zo’n schitterend huis verbleven en onze vrienden waren het daar volledig mee eens.
De villa is bovendien volledig uitgerust met ruim voldoende keukengerei, veel zachte, comfortabele handdoeken en allerlei kleine verzorgingsproducten in de badkamers. Het voelde alsof we in een vijfsterrenhotel verbleven, maar dan met zoveel meer charme en schoonheid.
Ik zou hier uren over deze plek kunnen schrijven, maar als je overweegt om deze villa te boeken, zou ik het gewoon meteen doen en zelf ontdekken hoe indrukwekkend en luxueus deze prachtige villa is.
Hinda was bijzonder behulpzaam en reageerde snel op al onze vragen. Ze vroeg ook steeds of ze ons ergens mee kon helpen.
We hadden bovendien het genoegen Katerina en haar man te ontmoeten, die voor de villa zorgen. Het waren waarschijnlijk de vriendelijkste en meest geweldige mensen die we ooit tijdens een verblijf via Airbnb hebben ontmoet.
We werden behandeld als koningen en koninginnen. Een absoluut prachtig begin van ons huwelijksleven.
We zijn onze reis voor volgend jaar nu al aan het plannen!
Villa Atalandia boeken, hebben we ons niet beklaagd, integendeel. De werkelijkheid overstijgt zelfs de digitale versie.
Wat een belevenis! We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Katarina die ons een grondige rondleiding in en rond de villa gaf. Een hapje en een drankje stonden voor ons klaar. We waren overweldigd! Zó mooi! We merkten onmiddellijk op dat de Villa er piccobello bij lag. Alles is weldoordacht om het de toerist zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken:het ‘Atalandia-logo’ op de handdoeken, de schilderijen, kunstwerkjes, natuurstenen, meubels… We voelden ons direct thuis in deze unieke parel.
En dan het uitzicht, daar kan men niet op uitgekeken geraken! Een schitterend panorama op zee en bergen. Een mens wordt er stil van… ZEN… Het BBQ-gedeelte is perfect gelokaliseerd. Daar beleefden we ‘tot-in-de-vroege-uren’ te koesteren familiemomenten onder een ‘sky full of stars’. Elke morgen trok ik een aantal baantjes in het grote zwembad (terwijl de minder sportievelingen ondertussen aan het genieten waren van de vier relax baden). Over de villa en de omgeving niets dan positiefs.
Een groot bijkomend pluspunt is de vlotte communicatie met het Atalandia team dat indien gewenst de ganse tijd ter beschikking staat: Katerina, de huishoudster, Andreas, de pool boy, en Georgios, de tuin- en klusjesman.
Zij doen er alles aan om u de vakantie van uw leven te bezorgen. Ook de boeking en communicatie verliepen correct, vriendelijk en efficiënt. Ik hoop van ganser harte dat alle vakantiegangers met veel respect met deze woning zullen omgaan.
Enkele uitstappen die vanuit de villa kunnen ondernomen worden (en aangeraden worden op de website) hebben we gedaan en zijn echt de moeite waard.
Een welgemeende dankuwel aan Hinda en haar team voor de droomvakantie die ze ons bezorgd hebben.

Booking Villa Atalandia was a decision we certainly did not regret. Quite the opposite: the reality is even better than the digital version.
What an experience! We were warmly welcomed by Katerina, who gave us a thorough tour of the villa and its surroundings. A snack and drinks had been prepared for us. We were overwhelmed. It was so beautiful!
We immediately noticed how immaculate the villa was. Everything has been thoughtfully designed to make guests feel as comfortable as possible: the Atalandia logo on the towels, the paintings, works of art, natural stone, furniture... We immediately felt at home in this unique gem.
And then there is the view. You simply cannot get enough of it! A magnificent panorama of the sea and mountains. It takes your breath away... ZEN.
The barbecue area is perfectly situated. There, we enjoyed precious family moments that lasted into the early hours, beneath a sky full of stars.
Every morning, I swam a few lengths in the large pool, while the less sporty among us enjoyed the four relaxing pools.
There is nothing but positive to say about the villa and its surroundings.
Another major plus is the excellent communication with the Atalandia team, who are available throughout your stay whenever needed: Katerina, the housekeeper; Andreas, the pool attendant; and Georgios, the gardener and handyman.
They do everything they can to give you the holiday of a lifetime.
The booking process and communication were also smooth, friendly and efficient. I sincerely hope that all future guests will treat this beautiful property with the respect it deserves.
We also took some of the excursions recommended on the website, and they were absolutely worthwhile.

The place is more beautiful than it looks in the pictures. Clean and neat, quiet, luminous and well placed it renders itself for a relaxing stay. Large rooms, en-suite bathrooms to all, comfortable beds, quality and tasteful furnishing, classy and more than full kitchen equipment and utilities, everything functional. Hinda was extremely responsive and the communication with her and the friendly lady taking care of the premises was impeccable. I guess there is no better accommodation option to spend a few or more days in that part of the world, a real gemstone!

De villa is in werkelijkheid nog mooier dan op de foto’s. Schoon, verzorgd, rustig, licht en prachtig gelegen: alles leent zich hier voor een ontspannen verblijf.
De kamers zijn ruim en beschikken allemaal over een eigen badkamer. De bedden zijn comfortabel en de inrichting is hoogwaardig en smaakvol. De keuken is stijlvol en meer dan volledig uitgerust, met alles wat je nodig hebt, en alle voorzieningen werken perfect.
Hinda reageerde bijzonder snel en de communicatie met haar en met de vriendelijke dame die voor de villa zorgt, verliep uitstekend.
Ik kan me nauwelijks een betere accommodatie voorstellen voor een verblijf van enkele dagen of langer in dit deel van de wereld. Een echte parel!
